Place the bag unfolded with the marked side facing up in the microwave, without a grill rack. Do not leave the microwave unattended while the popcorn is being prepared. Never leave the bag in the microwave for more than five minutes to avoid the bag bursting.
Set the device to the highest power level. The popping time varies depending on the type of microwave: 450-600 W = 3-4 minutes, 600-700 W = 2-3 minutes, 1000 W = 1-2 minutes. Turn off the microwave when the popcorn is popping slowly (once every 1 or 2 seconds).
Warning: The bag will be very hot. Carefully remove the hot bag from the microwave and shake it to distribute the flavoring ingredients evenly. Allow to cool briefly.
Store in a dry, sealed place, protected from light and heat.
Attention: Hot steam may escape when opening. To open the bag, gently pull on the opposite corners of the top. If there are still unpopped kernels in the bag, place the bag higher next time, e.g., on a microwave-safe bowl. It is normal for there to be unpopped kernels in the bag. Do not reheat these, and do not reuse the used bag. Pay attention to the proper cooking time next time. Optionally, cook the popcorn longer next time.
